K. “So I had this beat from Mirac on my phone for a while, which was not 140 bpm like all the other riddims we picked before. I tried to write on it a couple times but it didn’t work out. Then I wrote these quick little 16 bars while waiting at the job center without no beat, because I didn’t have no headphones with me. Later that evening, I had that special moment I guess every MC knows, when you’re like: ‘Wait, I guess these bars I wrote last night fit perfectly on that beat I got on my phone’. Only problem was, I couldn’t write a hook or second part which came out to be as good, so it was just my 16 bars on the track after weeks, still. Then on my way to Vienna I saw an Insta-story showing my bredda T Smallz Suso from Gambia, who had just touched down in Vienna same way. I sent him the beat, he immediately had this hook in mind and passed by in the studio the next day to record it. I guess he spent less than 15 minutes in the booth.”

P. “Mirac´s ‘Howl’-Riddim liegt schon länger auf meiner Festplatte und wurde schon im Zuge der O5 Bewegung verwendet, für GHOST hat er sich zum Spitten perfekt angeboten. Die Studio Session mit T Smallz war übernice, beim Recorden gabs die Bassline in der Hook noch gar nicht, seine Gesangsline gab dem Tune den nötigen Turn, und erzeugt live ordentlich Heat. Lyrisch hab ich auf Teile eines alten Verses zurückgegriffen, den ich zerlegt und neu angeordnet hab. Schon lang keine mehrsilbigen Reime mehr geschrieben, hat richtig Spass gemacht mal langsam zu flexen.”
