K. “I love to collaborate with Dubape, as he is such an inspiring producer, we already got some Drum’n’Bass tracks out and I hosted a lot of his sets in the past decade. Con and P. pretty much wrote the whole song and came up with the topic and hook, I thought it was a good idea to use this chance telling the people about me and my approach to Grime and the UK bass culture in general. Especially because a lot of people still put me into the Dancehall box because thats how they got to know me, now some people say I switched and jumped on Grime because it was hype and thing, but they don’t know I already voiced the first 140 bpm instrumentals back in 2010. I was watching BBK performing on a Rinse FM birthday party at the Matter London in 2009, my first Outlook was in 2010. I tried to explain that I’m on this thing for almost a decade already and no one can judge me for what I am doing right now.”

P. “Die ‘Und so’-Idee für die Hook kam von Con, in einer Session haben wir sie zusammen ausgefeilt und damit war auch klar, dass es um historische Bezüge und eigene Erfahrungen mit Grime/Rap und der Culture gehen wird. Ich hab versucht persönliche Zugänge und Erfahrungen meiner Rap-Laufbahn zu schildern und kuze Storytelling-Passagen einzubauen. Der Beat kam vom grossartigen Dubape, der eher für Drum’n’Bass und Dubstep-Tunes bekannt is. Die treibende Produktion hat mich beim ersten Hören gepackt und musste somit auf die EP.”
