K. “I remember when P. showed me the riddim and I was so impressed by the instrumental itself I think I said something like ‘if I were the guys from alllone I would drop this without any vocals on’, because I just had too much respect for that monster of a beat. Then I actually wrote my bars in the train on the way to the recording session, quickly beamed myself back in the Dancehall of the early 2000s and there was this deep halftime boomvoice line saying ‘you must be sick ina your head’. Jheeze, this was it. P. had already voiced his parts when I came to the studio that day and a couple weeks later the track was released on the Duzz Down San ‘X’ compilation.”

P. “Ich bin mit den Jungs von alllone schon länger in Kontakt und bekam öfter überdope Beats zugesandt, dieser war aber so outstanding, er musste auf die EP, was für ein Brett. Es gibt so Beats, wo man als MC das Gefühl hat, man darf nix falsch machen, grad bei so einer produktion, die im Club voll aufgeht. Für mich war Reduktion wichtig, um den Drums und dem Bass den nötigen Platz zu lassen. Wir haben Ideen zu Kinetical’s Hook schon im Vorfeld paar mal besprochen und sie killt im Endeffekt so wie gewünscht.”
